Greeny2.0 theme

Greeny2.0 is a 2 column widget-ready theme. The theme has a web2.0 look and uses different flavors of the green color.

Download Greeny2.0 | Click here for Demo

This theme makes use of a wide range and shades of green. A lovely range of colour makes sure this site has a bright fun feel. If you want a straightforward design that still allows your site design to reflect a young fresh image then Greeny2 may be the fresh look you want.

The design includes a Search box and an RSS icon with the header area of your site as well as a navigation area. This all lends to the site having a feeling of very good use of space. When a user is on any particular area of your site then the relevant navigation area turns into a button to help the user in their navigation.

The search area is implemented in a graphic way which makes it look very stylish indeed. The design is thoroughly tested in all browsers and comes widget ready. By default the site highlights your tag cloud and gives you space for four 125×125 pixel adverts.

I would very much like to use this theme on my blog. However, I can’t figure out how to make my tagline show up in the header. I tried editing the code which broke the whole theme. Can you please help? thanks!

Anyone else get the “warning” about the header each time you try to make a post or do anything else? If this was fixed this theme would be great!

Aimee, please download again and try

I have also been getting the header warning. I tried deleting the theme and uploading it again, I’ll try again. I really like this theme and so does everyone I’ve showed it too, so I’m determined.

Any help available on getting a tagline to display in the header?

I just saved the functions.php file without the space at the top and it worked (in a text editor, not in the WP theme editor).

Thanks for a nice theme!

How can I change the 4 boxes of “125×125″ content ?

Neelu on 19 September, 2008 at 4:04 pm #

Hi there,
I’m using the green theme and like the look of it, but I don’t know how to change the images in the right hand corner. Can anyone advise me as to how I can do that please? It’s meant to be a wheat free diet blog and there’s a pic of a field full of wheat which I can’t get rid of!

I see you wanted to do the same as me Smaship and I noticed the 4 lines of code in your next post, my 4 boxes are on the side bar, but I see at the top you have got footer.php
Can anyone tell me where to put the code in the sidebar please?
I have theme running on 2.6.2

Peter on 19 October, 2008 at 7:01 pm #

Or perhaps you will be kind enough to tell me Srik!

Srik on 20 October, 2008 at 3:43 am #

You can change the ads in footer.php, just like smaship said.

Adde on 20 October, 2008 at 10:58 am #

Is it possible to have one large lets say 500×500 instead of 4 125×125 adsquares?

Adde on 20 October, 2008 at 11:02 am #

I forgot one question. My footer is decrypted and there are no adlines to be changed..

Peter on 20 October, 2008 at 6:55 pm #

Even though they are in sidebar at top?

Srik on 21 October, 2008 at 4:04 am #

Peter is it too hard to open footer and change the ads there and see for yourself if it works or not instead of wasting other peoples time?

Cher on 7 November, 2008 at 11:15 pm #

As stated by Elizabeth, I too face the problem of incorporating the tag line under the header. Could you please show how to fix this problem. Without tag line, header looks something missing.

will you be upgrading your themes to work with Wordpress 2.7’s threaded comments?

roscha on 15 April, 2009 at 3:25 am #

Beautifull Template. But why when I try it the banner and other widget go over posting area? I would love to use this for my other blog and I use WP 2.71. Thanks
