Free wordpress theme GreenArt released

Download greenart | Click here for Demo

GreenArt is a simple wordpress theme with an appealing shiny header. The theme uses green color in the header and on the appropriate places and so, has been named as the GreenArt. It is a 3 column wordpress theme with 2 right sidebars and has custom designed icons for the date along with a simple footer. Overall, the theme looks clean and is very nicely done. It has been tested on wordpress 2.2.1 and on Firefox and Internet Explorer.

For some reason the post comments do not work on this theme. Any idea how I can fix em? Thanks!

Hi,
I downloaded and installed the “greenart” template a couple of days ago, but had some problems with it.

For starters, when I enable this template, I get the following message displayed practically on top of the horizontal menu:
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/mythough/public_html/wp-content/themes/greenart-10/functions.php on line 7.

Additionally, the links page is all screwed up with the bullet points for each running off the left side of the template.

Also, my link subcategories are missing.

Finally, is there a way to remove my links from the homepage without removing them from the “links” page. The fact they are in both “locations” makes them redundant.

Can you help?
Thanks
C

I’ve just uploaded the theme. It looks great and works perfectly. Also minor changes to the fonts and separating the home page blogroll from my other links (which I put on a separate page) was a snap.

There is a small typo in the search field in the header. It says “Serach” instead of “Search.” But it was easily corrected. Just thought you’d want to know.

Anyway, thanks once again for the fix and for a simple, yet elegant theme.

Srik on 13 November, 2007 at 9:44 am #

odenis, you are right… looks like they are missing and i don’t have them… can you please use any of the themes…

odenis on 13 November, 2007 at 10:53 am #

Therefore, I must take them into another theme?
But that represents these images?

Hi Srik,
Sorry to be a pain. I love the theme, but have been unable to get my sidebar widgets to work with it. On the back end I keep getting the following message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_sidebars() in /home/mythough/public_html/wp-content/plugins/widgets.php on line 22

Any suggestions?

Srik on 20 November, 2007 at 12:26 am #

no idea chad, i just tested it on 2.3 and had no problems…

Chad on 20 November, 2007 at 1:21 am #

Weird. I am using WP2.3.1. but am unable to get my most recent comments to work. I have just noticed they have a new version of sidebar widgets available. I’ll try that and see what happens.
Thanks Srik:)
