DivBlack is a dark colored 3-column wordpress theme with perfect color combination. The theme uses black color in the background with a yellow color header. It has 2 right sidebars and the header and footer of the theme complements each other. DivBlack has custom designed leaf icons for categories, blogrolls in the the sidebar which are well supported by the design in the background of the sidebar.

Also, the theme has been tested on wordpress 2.2.1 and works perfectly under Firefox and Internet Explorer

This is a great WordPress theme for any blog that wants to represent an organic feel or associate itself with nature whilst remaining thoroughly up to date and present a modern image.

The inspiration for this design was “Enchanted Forest” and you can see that our designers have more than delivered with this thoroughly enchanting design.

With a strong bold use of color, black yellow and gray this site is one that is easily remembered. You can see the attention to detail in all aspects of this wordpress theme. The typography is well laid out, a good use of space making your content very easy to read and utilising what many experts agree to be the most readable web font, Arial.

DivBlack has custom designed leaf icons for categories and blogrolls in the sidebar which compliment the header and footer designs nicely.

A 3 column design, with your two navigation and widget columns set aside from the main content area with an artistic impression of a broken branch. Thoroughly tested to ensure cross browser compatibility.

Great theme. The only thing I think you should change is the text color to white because it’s hard to read.

Justin,

you can change the font color in style.css

#blog #blog_comm .comm_text{
font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
line-height:18px;
padding-top:5px;
padding-bottom:15px;
padding-left:5px;
padding-right:5px;
margin-left:30px;
color:#666666;
background:url(images/comm_text.gif) no-repeat bottom left;
width:516px;
}

Thank you so much for the template. I did some tweaking and it’s working great.

I am having one little problem and maybe you could help me. When I install my adsense code before the footer in the index.php file, only part of the ad shows up. Could you tell me how to remedy this?

Todd

Hello Todd,

Try placing the adsense above or or below the prev/next argument in index.php

Nice theme, but not sure if it’s widget-ready and it looks like it’s a theme that has some default/can’t be overridden widgets designed into it, which I’m not wild about… am I wrong?
